Abstract

Conference Title: 2015 IEEE 11th International Conference on ASIC (ASICON ) Conference Start Date: 2015, Nov. 3 Conference End Date: 2015, Nov. 6 Conference Location: Chengdu, China Six-port receiver has become promising homodyne receiver architecture that attracts attention in the millimeter-wave (mm-wave). Six-port correlator is the fundamental component of a six-port receiver and its phase difference at its four output ports are in the multiples of 90° to allow for orthogonal processing. A novel six-port correlator is proposed in this paper. This novel six-port correlator consists of three hybrid couplers and one rat-race coupler. Simulations results are shown that the proposed six-port correlator has return loss and isolation better than 15dB and 26.7dB respectively. Its amplitude and phase imbalance are less than 0.7dB and 1.5° respectively from 57 to 66GHz.
