Abstract
Conference Title: 2016 IEEE/ACES International Conference on Wireless Information Technology and Systems (ICWITS) and Applied Computational Electromagnetics (ACES) Conference Start Date: 2016, March 13 Conference End Date: 2016, March 18 Conference Location: Honolulu, HI, USA To analyze the broadband scattering of the composite bodies of revolution (BORs), the marching-on-in-degree (MOD) scheme with volume-surface integral equation (VSIE) are proposed in this paper. In terms of the rotational symmetric property, only the transverse plane needs to be meshed in the dielectric parts, as the generatrix is divided into segements on the metallic surface. And then the RWG-like basis functions and the triangular function are used respectively. The weighted Laguerre polynomials are chosen as the temporal basis functions. A numerical simulation has been done to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.
