Abstract

Conference Title: 2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting Conference Start Date: 2015, July 19 Conference End Date: 2015, July 24 Conference Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada physical optics, shooting bouncing ray method and image theory are combined to rapidly compute the electromagnetic scattering from electrically large three-dimensional target on a dielectric rough surface where the reflection from the rough surface is modified by a roughness coefficient. In this hybrid approach, only the target is modeled. The proposed method can achieve good accuracy with very little computation resources for the composite scattering problem.
