In this poster, we develop a Digital Twins (DT)-empowered Open RAN (O-RAN) platform, RANMirror, to improve the energy saving of 5G base stations and ensure low-latency service provisions for mobile devices. Specifically, we invoke the potential DT technology that can assist the Non-Real-time rApps and Near-Real-time xApps in outputting high-efficiency network decisions through joint imitation of the status of 5G network and mobile devices. It can effectively reduce round-trip delay in real-time applications and system energy consumption in non-real-time applications. We provide two corresponding use cases to evaluate the performance of RANMirror. The experiment results demonstrate that our RANMirror platform achieves low-energy network operation and low-latency round-trip transmission.
