Abstract
The thesis aims to investigate the relationship between the built environment and man from a psychological point of view. It will employ select concepts from environmental psychology to evaluate how the current road networks are lacking in terms of sensitivity to psychological impacts, and subsequently propose how the road networks can be adapted to create a more vibrant streetscape that is conscious of and sensitive to human psychology.
