Abstract
Climate change and urban densification has reinforced the urgency for sustainable food systems. This thesis re-examines urban agriculture and food security in Singapore, where food is tied to its culture, and whose national goals have driven food innovation. A new architectural paradigm is proposed, focused on low-energy and circular processes.
