Abstract
Eczema is a common multi-faceted chronic skin condition that affects both children and adults. It cannot be eradicated but patients may control it by managing its symptoms. However, the management of eczema is difficult as it requires long term maintenance and care plan which includes understanding and avoiding the factors that aggravate it. Yet, the current measures and treatments targeting eczema are short term and do not consider the overall well-being of the patients and their skin conditions if it were to relapse in the future. Having said that, a chronic condition can be draining and unsustainable to both the patients and the caregiver in the long run and artificial intelligence technology can overcome that. Technology such as machine learning can be trained to speed up the process of diagnosis, treatment and monitor skin conditions. Therefore, this paper proposed an artificial intelligence integrated into eczema management plan and framework to address the issues of eczema control holistically.
