Abstract
Singapore’s Biophilic Town Framework has reinvented the way the country acknowledges its intense urban built form. Post many calibrations, the landscapes built on this framework not only establish a connection between humankind and nature, but holistically improves the quality of this connection. This can be seen in the recent public residential estates districts and townships that exude almost a village like feel- where environmental values and social cohesion among residents is enhanced and biophilia is engendered.
