Abstract
In a world where the age of globalisation has brought a plethora of technological innovations seeking to better the world, the world is heading towards a trajectory of greater chaos, conflict and isolation. As the world progresses into a new era of post-big data, the migration of individuals because of talent, personal goals, violence, climate change and political instability has inevitably resulted in frictions of conflict between locals and migrants. Due to one’s upbringing and experiences, individuals have subconsciously formed a certain prejudice against another race, religion, class. At the workplace, on the street, in transit, people view each individual differently. Technology has gently scrapped the surface of this issue as it tries to connect people in an increasingly disconnected world. However, a key component sustaining human life might be the bridge to resolving the social misperceptions among people. Everyone needs to eat. Everyone eats. People eat food with others. People share food with others. Could food be the answer to some of the problems society face in the world today?
