Abstract
This thesis program explores the issues of urban connectivity in the information age. The unit explores architecture as a mediator between the information rich databases and the hegemonic homogenisation of cultures by means of a site specific understanding of the social paradigm by leveraging on big data. The program’s location is set in New York city as it best represents problems faced by first-world cities: both open and subtle inequalities applied to a large range of demographic.
