Abstract
The coast and ocean is one of the most valuable resources to mankind. We capitalise on them by inventing the concepts of tourism and travelling. However, our current ways of living are not necessarily aligned with tourism development, and are certainly not adapted to live in the waters. The climate crisis in recent years has resulted in the rising of sea level around the world, and many areas, especially tourism destinations, are at-risk of being wiped out in the near future. This thesis explores a possible future where living can go hand in hand with tourism and sea level rise, making use of tools of fiction and infrastructure
