Abstract
Weather conditions are closely related to the aviation industry in many aspects, all the way from aircraft safety to airspace capacity management. However, severe weather conditions, such as convective weather events, are disruptive to the aviation industry, bringing with them significant cost to both consumers and the airline industry. Not only do the convective weather events bring financial costs, but also lead to safety issues. With the increasing demand for commercial flights, airspace capacity managers are becoming increasingly concerned about the impact of weather conditions on tra
