Secrecy Outage on Transmit Antenna Selection With Weighting Errors at Maximal-Ratio Combiners

We analyse the secrecy outage performance of transmit antenna selection/maximal-ratio combining systems with the consideration of weighting errors. N-A, N-B, and N-E antennas are assumed to be equipped at the transmitter, the legitimate receiver, and the eavesdropper, respectively. We derive generalized secrecy outage probability and introduce a statistical analysis tool, saddle-point approximation, to investigate the asymptotic behavior. A weighted sum of diversity orders range from N-A to NANB can be obtained when the eavesdropper's average signal-to-noise ratio is constant. Last, simulation results demonstrate the theoretical analysis.
